Chad,
I would second the comments provided by Frank in his earlier post. I think Pascagoula is starving for alternative dining choices. The fast food market is strong, but sit-down dining is a grave need for the area and as suggested, many folks travel to neighboring cities to enjoy the cuisine you are selling.
Just as I'm sure your restaurant was a dream of yours that you pursued and accomplished, the Pascagoula Men's Club was a vision of mine, and seeing it established and thriving has been a real boost to the community and me personally.
Thank you for visiting and commenting on our site, and I too will offer my contact information for future consideration...be it anything from tour guide on a visit to town or just general conversation.

Chad,

Thanks for the comment on the Pascagoula Men's Club site.

It's great to hear that someone is looking to come to the area. At this time, Pascagoula does not have a sushi and Pan Asian restaurant. Many, many residents (young professionals, families, etc.) travel weekly, some even daily, to other areas including Ocean Springs, D'Iberville, and Mobile to find such cuisine. The Asian, sushi, hibachi business is a growing industry and I personally feel such an establishment would be well received in Pascagoula.

Not only am I a member of the Club, but I'm also a City Councilman. I'd be happy to help you get started (site, codes, etc.) in town.

Feel free to keep my contact information handy. I hope to hear from you soon.

Thanks again,

Frank Corder

Hi there, I grew up in Ocean Springs. I now own Two Stick, a Asian Restaurant and Sushi bar in Oxford and am hoping to open a Two Stick in Pascagoula. Over the last ten years we have used our business to raise thousands of dollars for dozens of charities. I can appreciate what you guys do as a group and If my plans to open are realized, I will support your efforts in any way I can. I would really like an opinion on how a Pan Asian restaurant sushi bar would do. Chad Henson

I definitely will be there. Since suggesting this as a community service, I've ridden Belair St many times. It has become more and more apparent that this will be a great chance for us to make a good showing and a significant impact in our city. Remember, the more folks that show, the quicker we can make this a succesful event. May even be a good chance to bring some of our next generation out, as we've discussed getting our children involved.
BTW, huge thanks to Frank for getting the web site up and running.
