The Pascagoula Men’s Club honored Dr. Kenneth Seay as an Outstanding Citizen at their September 8th monthly meeting. The club unanimously voted to bestow the honor on Dr. Seay, a former coach, principal, and superintendent of schools for the Pascagoula School District, for his outstanding community efforts in cleanliness and beautification in his neighborhood. The 84 year old Dr. Seay routinely goes over and beyond to maintain two vacant lots adjacent to his home that he does not own. This he sees as helping to instill a sense of pride into his neighborhood and adds to the overall beautification of the City. Seay is the second recipient of this honor; Jamie Cowart was honored for her efforts as Pascagoula Main Street Promotions Chair during the successful 1st Annual Live Oak Festival.
